Geopalm, a reference company in the geotechnology sector, was responsible for another highly relevant project: the top-hydrographic survey of the Estuário do Sado, Troia peninsula and Serra da Arrábida. This project, which involved the use of cutting-edge technologies such as mono and multibeam sonar and aerial image capture, aims to provide an accurate data set for the purposes of conservation, management and analysis of the region’s coastal ecosystem.

The Estuário do Sado region, located between the Troia peninsula and Serra da Arrábida, is known for its natural beauty and ecological importance. To ensure the protection and sustainable development of this sensitive area, it was necessary to carry out a detailed top-hydrographic and aerial survey. This type of survey is fundamental for studying underwater morphology, monitoring coastal areas and supporting engineering and environmental conservation projects.
